I've had to work a lot this week because of the ice storm we had. They kept the gym open and with me being the intern, I had to find people to work and if there were empty spots, I filled in.
I did get a little bored and these were my results:

Between the shock and excitment, I am a little confused :)but I have it in writing to prove it...
Let me highlight that it is indeed The Dean's List and further on in the reading that it states "The Dean's List includes the students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher." I just want to point out that I made a 3.6!!!!

Scott is an amazing man who surprised me for my birthday! It turns out, about 2 weeks ago, he and a good friend Nikki, started planning my birthday. They were able to get a big group of friends minus one special one...Shawn O Martin ;) and they came out to P.F. Chang's with balloons all just for me. I love them all for doing that because the reservation was at 9pm and the mall closed and so I had no where else to go but to P.F. Chang's. So they had to hide in the bar area and then sneak in through the kitchen so I wouldnt see them. And poor Scott the WHOLE HOUR we had to wait, kept trying his hardest from letting me look around. But yeah, the place was so crowded that we waited an hour before we were sat but of course P.F. Chang's is amazing and they gave us 6 FREE appetizers!
But before all that, when I came home from work, he had candles and hot pink roses scattered throughout the apt and a note that said to follow the path to get my gift. So I did just that...
...I followed...
Me:"Where's my gift?!"
Scott:"I'M YOUR GIFT!"
Me:"Can I return my gift??"

Lately, I have been on a cake decorating kick and though I havent gone to any classes for it, I decided to try it out on my own for a friends birthday.
Freddy loves baseball and I tried my hardest with the tools & colors I had. It didnt come out perfect like the image I had in my head and I wouldnt say I'm a professional now, but I think its pretty good. Its hard to see but there are bases around the ball...its set up like a field.
The funny part of all this is how we are trying to cover it without ruining it...hehe its pretty ghetto! :)

Tuesday, I started my new responsibilities at the gym. I have been working on the schedule and getting all that filled, looking into hiring new people, time clock, count sheets, and so much more. Well today, I gave my first interview and then also conducted a phone interview. THEN I GOT TO HIRE MY FIRST EMPLOYEE! YAY :) So lets pray he works out and I dont look like an idiot for choosing him.
Work flys by now...I love it! I'm really enjoying it but completely exhausted when I come home at night. Granted, I've been clocking in at 10am and staying until 8p. So I cant wait until monday where I will work monday-thurs 4p-11p. I just hope that my 2classes dont have a lot of busy work to them with all my internship work I have to do.
So basically, I am really excited about this semester.
Scott has really been working hard on his Vegas presentation. I will drop him off at 11am on January 19th at the Lexington Airport << I just wish I was going too >> Their project turned out huge! Scott alone had 100 pages for his portion of the project and they had a total of 175 pages combined...crazy but hopefully it pays off and they win the "Rookie of the Year" award.
Pretty much thats our life as of right now. School starts monday and we will have no lives once again :)

We had one crazy fun party for new year's. Thanks to Phil and his amazing rum punch we had a blast! He also brought over his karaoke player and we sang in 2009 a little off key:)
Sorry this took me so long...
So Tuesday, dad had the day off and had planned to learn how to make pita bread from Tata and so Scott and I joined. It was a blast! We didnt just learn how to make pita bread but also grape leaf rolls and my favorite, "Christmas cookies" and stuffed potatoes. So here are all the recipes and photos of us attempting and succeeding at the pita bread :)
Pita Bread:
Ingredients:
• 5 cups of flour
• 1/4 oz of yeast
• Water
• Salt
Directions:
• Pour yeast in a 6oz cup, add 3oz of water and salt to taste.
• Allow yeast to rise above the top of the cup
• Pour yeast into flour
• Add yeast to flour and yeast; start with 8oz of water
• Work the dough with flour until it's not sticky
• Pinch off dough into small balls about the size of a large egg, and place on
a towel.
• Roll balls into thin circles
• Let dough sit for 90 mins. to rise
• Cook for 8 mins or until golden brown 
Once they are rolled and flattened, you lay them out on the table for 1 1/2-2 hours then bake and they look like this:
Then Tata taught me how to make my Stuffed Potatoes. You take a pound of meat, brown with onions, salt & peper. Peel the potatoes and with a special tool, hallow the inside of the potatoe (just dont go all the way through like I did) and stuff the meat inside and make sure to plug them up! :) Take some tomatoe paste and add water to make sauce. Pour the sauce over the potatoes and bake for 350 degrees for about an hour (more or less...check for softness) 
and ta-da! stuffed potatoes :)
