Still Waiting & Praying

This weekend, Scott and I have decided to apartment hunt. It was originally going to be up in Lexington...which we still might just in case, but mostly around here in Richmond. So if anyone knows of any awesome places that are super cheap...send them our way :)

Also, if anyone knows of anyone who is hiring...I dont care where...let me know! If I get a full time job, we might just go there...hint hint mom :) I would love to babysit but I'm open to anything.

Please keep praying for us! We are both stressed to the max between figuring out jobs, where we are going to live, and with school coming to an end. Thankfully, I have ZERO finals but a ton left to do before I end my job here at the gym :(

But we are super excited for dad for getting an award that he will recieve at the Memorial in Cincinnati and cant wait to go and support him....and hopefully make it into another magazine like last year :)

May 9th cannot come soon enough! We cant wait to have everyone at both our graduation ceremonies...its going to be a looooooong day of hearing the exact same speeches and whatnot. But it will be worth it...cuz that means Kristy gets to come home from D.C.; Eric & Jes are trying to make it; parents and grandparents (with Cleea) from Cincinnati and Scott's family from London....one big party! :)

Okay, we will keep you updated when we figure this thing called "life" out :)

Job Updates

Scott had an interview March 18th. He said it went really well but no news on that one yet. IT would be in Glasscow, KY (western ky). Then today, he had an interview with a financial company (nothing to do with construction) here in lexington. It was a group interview and so he will find out tomorrow if he gets a 2nd interview.

Tonight, we went to his banquet at Arlington Country Club and he was able to talk with some other Companies. From the Home Builders Association of KY Banquet the other month, he met a gentleman who seemed very interested in him and he was there tonight. He is def. interested in Scott but his son will be taking over the company and so the two of them have to decide on what position they want to open up but he keep telling Scott that he is looking for a "good guy and you're a good guy". He is the cutest, sweetest old man. & the homes he builds are amazing! (Google Crawford Homes) So Scott will email him his resume and pray that something works out there. Out of all these opportunities, Mr. Crawford's really feels like he is going to be the one to offer a job to us and I think Scott would be great at it and fit right in. I could see Scott working for him and I would be happy to stay in Lexington.

So that is the news, we havent heard back about any Dubai offers, or Cincinnati offers. A few companies from London that Scott applied too were there tonight but they werent very outgoing and didnt feel like they were very interested in hiring. So keep praying for this and we will keep you updated! :)

Oh and I get to go to Tampa next week for a conference and so maybe I might stumble on an opportunity for me

WE GOT AN INTERVIEW!!

Scott just called me a few minutes ago and said that he just got an interview with a company here in Kentucky...Glasgow CO.(western ky) for March 18th at 1pm with Alliance. They do work all over the state and so we would move along with the work most likely. But basically the company is coming to EKU and they had sign-ups for interviews. So who knows how this will turn out. Enerfab from Cincinnati is suppose to be coming to EKU for interviews also now that they got rid of their hiring freeze but we havent heard any more details about when. So keep praying and we will keep you updated :)

Nickelback Concert

Friday night we went to the Nickelback Concert....it was awesome! We had floor seats and were right there at the stage. The only bad part was when everyone kept pushing and then you got the few people who acted like they knew someone and the were trying to go sit with them and then they just stood infront of you and blocked your view. So being short didnt really help me :)

But as Scott says, we were close enough we could count Chad's, the main guy's, nose hairs :)

They had fire works, fire, and so much more....Nickelback really put on a good show
