Scott had an interview March 18th. He said it went really well but no news on that one yet. IT would be in Glasscow, KY (western ky). Then today, he had an interview with a financial company (nothing to do with construction) here in lexington. It was a group interview and so he will find out tomorrow if he gets a 2nd interview.
Tonight, we went to his banquet at Arlington Country Club and he was able to talk with some other Companies. From the Home Builders Association of KY Banquet the other month, he met a gentleman who seemed very interested in him and he was there tonight. He is def. interested in Scott but his son will be taking over the company and so the two of them have to decide on what position they want to open up but he keep telling Scott that he is looking for a "good guy and you're a good guy". He is the cutest, sweetest old man. & the homes he builds are amazing! (Google Crawford Homes) So Scott will email him his resume and pray that something works out there. Out of all these opportunities, Mr. Crawford's really feels like he is going to be the one to offer a job to us and I think Scott would be great at it and fit right in. I could see Scott working for him and I would be happy to stay in Lexington.
So that is the news, we havent heard back about any Dubai offers, or Cincinnati offers. A few companies from London that Scott applied too were there tonight but they werent very outgoing and didnt feel like they were very interested in hiring. So keep praying for this and we will keep you updated! :)
Oh and I get to go to Tampa next week for a conference and so maybe I might stumble on an opportunity for me

WE GOT AN INTERVIEW!!
Scott just called me a few minutes ago and said that he just got an interview with a company here in Kentucky...Glasgow CO.(western ky) for March 18th at 1pm with Alliance. They do work all over the state and so we would move along with the work most likely. But basically the company is coming to EKU and they had sign-ups for interviews. So who knows how this will turn out. Enerfab from Cincinnati is suppose to be coming to EKU for interviews also now that they got rid of their hiring freeze but we havent heard any more details about when. So keep praying and we will keep you updated :)

Nickelback Concert
Friday night we went to the Nickelback Concert....it was awesome! We had floor seats and were right there at the stage.
The only bad part was when everyone kept pushing and then you got the few people who acted like they knew someone and the were trying to go sit with them and then they just stood infront of you and blocked your view. So being short didnt really help me :)
But as Scott says, we were close enough we could count Chad's, the main guy's, nose hairs :)

They had fire works, fire, and so much more....Nickelback really put on a good show

Magna Cum Laude
Haha so a few weeks ago...after making the Dean's List:) ...I recieved an invitation to the National Scholar's Honor Society to graduate Magna Cum Laude. So I filled out the application to just see if I could make it in knowing I dont have the GPA but today I recieved an email saying "Congradulations". However, after reading completely through the email, they pretty much just want my money to join the organization but it's up to my school to decide who graduates with magna cum.
But I thought it was funny that I actually got in :)

Busy Weekend
Thursday night, Scott and I attended the Home Builders Association of Kentucky Conference Banquet where we got to dress up and I was wayyyyyy over dressed :)
It was fun, Josh and his fiance Amber were there with us

Friday, the boys were suppose to present what they presented in Vegas but then last minute were told to just make it a quick Thank You and a general idea of the project. They did a great job and from it, Scott and Josh were confronted about a job opportunity.
Then, Friday night, we went over to my boss Jess' for dinner. It was a blast playing with Lily, her little girl, and just hanging out with everyone before heading down to London.
Saturday, we just hung out and got ready to go down to Sommerset for Scott "The Great White" Hope's UMA Fight. Now that was a blast. There were about 12 fights. Some better and more exciting but they saved the best for last. Scott's fight was the main event and he put on a good show.

SCOTT "The Great White" WON!!
He sent the guy to the hospital with a broken nose and a big gash on the face!

Weekend with Brad & Steph
Sorry this took so long. Our lives have been pretty busy but the last exciting thing we did was we went and visited Brad & Steph up in Dayton the other weekend. It was a blast. Brad took us to Wright Pat Air Force Museum where Steph & I couldnt seem to find our way outta that place :) No but really, it was really fun and interesting.
We also went and had dinner with Steph's parents one night. They taught us how to play "Quarters" which is soooo much fun! Next time we will be prepared to play for real.
It was one great weekend and we cant wait to see all of them again :)
Our next fun event is this weekend. Scott has to present his Vegas project to the Home Builders Association. Thursday night is the dinner and dance and then he will present on Friday. Then Friday night, Jess, my boss at work is having a dinner for all the group fitness instructors. After that, we will head back down to London to watch Scott, our brother-in-law, fight in his UFC fight. It's going to be a really big fight...he has been training really hard and has confidence that he is going to knock him out. And the word around town is that Scott is picked to win too! :) So yay Scott! Kick his butt! << pictures will be posted soon! >>
